Constructed in the 13th century,
the grand castle of Vinzelles was extensively reconstructed in
the 17th century by the renowned Claude Bullion, the minister
of finance under Louis 13th..
From the first building there remains a very beautiful carved
porch which gives access to the court of honour. With an Italian
influence, this courtyard is open to the north and south. The
crossing of the still bridge, to the north, gives one a view
of the current day vat-room as well as the fortified or "old
castle"
