Vinzelles is part of the canton Mâcon sud in Saône and Loire. Already known as Romains, Vinzelles takes its name from the latin "vincella which means small vine. The distinctive feature of the Vinzelles domaine is the presence of two châteaux separated by just a few metres, the fortified castle from the11th century and the noble castle from the 13th and 17th centuries.
